FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots are holding their final practice of the week Friday, and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle), offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (toe) and guard Tre' Jackson (left knee) were not present for the third day in a row, which means they're likely to be ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington.
Sheard injured his ankle in the first half of the team's Oct. 18 win over the Colts, and said afterwards that he didn't think it was a serious situation, but he hasn't played since.
