There’s rarely any doubt who the intended receiver of a Tom Brady spiral is. The Patriots quarterback’s pumpkin carving? Not nearly so certain.
On Saturday, Brady posted an Instagram story of a face carved into a pumpkin. The Halloween decoration has a set of eight teeth, but the artist appears to have left it up to the beholder to decide whether that mouth is smiling or frowning.
“I’m trying!!!” Brady wrote, adding three laughing emojis.

He invited his followers to chime in on a poll that asked if the pumpkin was happy or sad.
