The New England Patriots have officially narrowed their team down, going from the allotted 90 players (or 91 with the NFL's International Player Pathway program) to 53.
There were some expected roster cuts, while others came as a surprise. And with that, 11 rookies made the roster, including nine draft picks and two undrafted free agents.

Opinion: This was the expected outcome. The Patriots waived UDFA Ben Wooldridge in the first round of cuts, and it's unknown if they will even bring him back on the practice squad.
