Monday marked International Women’s Day around the world and three members of the New England Patriots made sure to honor some of the special women in their own lives.
According to the United Nations, International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8th to “commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.”
Over Instagram, Julian Edelman shared some video of himself working out with his daughter Lily with a special message.
“A world where my Lily, and all little girls, can grow up to be whatever they want. That’s what we are striving for”, Edelman wrote in an accompanying caption.
