The New England Patriots entered the 2025 offseason off yet another disappointing season with a second straight head coaching change, but they found themselves in a better situation than last year. Not only did they have considerable resources available yet again, they also did not need to spend any of them on the quarterback position.
Sure, there are plenty of holes left all over the roster and addressing them will be key before any talk about getting back into contention. With Drake Maye under center, however, the team now has some theoretical flexibility atop the draft.
