INDIANAPOLIS — The last time Jonathan Taylor played New England, the Patriots kept throwing bodies at him, pummeling the Colts superstar in a war at the line of scrimmage.
Taylor ended up getting the last laugh, finishing them off late with a spectacular 67-yard run, one of the defining highlights of his NFL career so far.
But it’s not only the 170-yard performance Taylor remembers from that game. New England’s physicality, relentless nature and refusal to deviate from the game plan are seared in Taylor’s memory, and after missing last season’s Patriots debacle due to injury, he’s expecting to get the Patriots’ best again Sunday in Frankfurt.
