HOPKINTON, Mass. —
Hopkinton is moving toward naming a street after Boston Marathon legends Dick and Rick Hoyt.
The Select Board will discuss the proposal at a meeting Tuesday night.
Dick Hoyt, who pushed his son Rick through more than a thousand races including 32 Boston marathons, died March 17 at the age of 80.

On Monday --- which normally would have been the running of the marathon if not for a delay for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic -- one of Dick Hoyt’s grandsons pushed Rick for a mile-long run in his honor.
