FOXBOROUGH – NFL fans were treated to a lot of exciting games over these last two days.
The least compelling games were in the AFC, especially the top seeded playoff teams. No drama, no high anxiety, just the teams who were supposed to win strutting their stuff.
One of the more impactful and cherished three words in football are “leave no doubt”. Denver had a Los Angeles Charger team resting all of its starters. The Broncos won, 19-3 to secure the top seed in the AFC. The Chargers, with San Francisco reject Trey Lance at quarterback, did basically nothing all game long, taking a lot of pressure off Bo Nix and the Bronco offense.
