Foxboro fans rally for ‘half god’ Tom Brady

FOXBORO — Close to 200 New England Patriots fans skipped the beach and sat for hours in holiday traffic and even postponed a honeymoon yesterday for a “Free Tom Brady” rally intended to pump up the “Deflategate” whipping boy’s spirits.

The two-hour rally in a parking lot of Gillette Stadium, billed on Facebook as a peaceful protest of “the unjust football arrest of half God, half man Tom Brady,” was organized on the multimillionaire superstar’s behalf by a part-time janitor from Framingham.

“Money can’t buy legacy, and that’s what’s being tainted right now,” Pablo Munoz, 22, told the Herald.
