After the New England Patriots suffered a recent rash of injuries to its offensive line - including projected starting center Garrett Bradbury - the team has signed former Shepherd Hill and Boston College star Alec Lindstrom in time for Wednesday's practice.
Lindstrom, a former Telegram & Gazette Super Teamer with the Rams, was wearing No. 61 as he worked out with the Patriots. He has frequently worked out in his offseasons with former New England Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia.
Lindstrom, 27, has spent the last two seasons playing for the UFL's Memphis Showboats after going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft.
