Former Patriots safety Patrick Chung pleads not guilty to assault charges

Patrick Chung appeared in Quincy District Court on Tuesday after being arrested in Milton, Mass. on Monday. The former New England Patriots safety was charged with alleged assault and battery of a household/family member and vandalizing property.

According to a police report, Chung allegedly pushed a woman and caused her to fall to the ground. He allegedly also hit her in the face with his open hand, and is furthermore accused of taking her cell phone and throwing it.

Paramedics arrived at the incident, but, according to WBZ 4 Boston, no treatment was required.
