Former Patriots RB Taken to Hospital After He Was Unable to Get Up Following Hit vs Giants

Former New England Patriots running back Damien Harris was transported by ambulance on Sunday night against the Giants, with the new Bills back suffering a scare during the contest.

Harris was injured Sunday night while carrying on a third and short play with just over 3-minutes remaining in the half, with Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke meeting him and bringing him down.

After the play, Harris, who was conscious and moving his arms along with his head, was reportedly unable to get up, which immediately drew concern from his teammates.

Trainers immediately went out, and he was ultimately placed on a stretcher and taken to the hospital, which given the incident less than a year earlier with Damar Hamlin, certainly had Bills fans concerned for Harris’ well being.
