A former standout Patriots defender continues to bounce around the AFC East.
Linebacker Matthew Judon reportedly intends to join the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Judon was released by the Miami Dolphins two days ago and entered the NFL’s waiver wire.
The Bills hosted the 33-year-old pass rusher for a tryout on Friday, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Judon won’t face his former team in the regular season if he joins Buffalo’s active roster, as the Patriots and Bills have already played each other twice. Buffalo defeated division-leading New England 35-31 in comeback fashion last week in Foxborough, tying the teams’ season series at 1-1.
