Former New England Patriots defensive back Jack Jones found a new home in the AFC East on Saturday.
“Free-agent CB Jack Jones, who started 16 games last season for the Raiders, is signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, per source,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter posted on X. “Jones now returns to the AFC East, where he used to start for the Patriots in 2022-‘23.”
The Patriots selected Jones in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and the 27-year-old recorded 30 tackles, six passes defended, three tackles for loss and two interceptions (one of which was returned for a touchdown) across 13 games as a rookie.
