Former Patriots Center Jake Andrews Finds New Home After Release

The New England Patriots made a swath of moves on Monday, releasing six players in the aftermath of the 2025 NFL Draft.

In amongst them was former fourth round pick out of Troy, interior offensive lineman Jake Andrews, who made just one start for the organization in two years on the team.

A pick that then head coach and de facto GM, Bill Belichick, hoped to potentially turn into the eventual replacement for his namesake and now-retired center, David Andrews, during his final draft with the Patriots.

And whilst things did not pan out in New England, the ex-Patriot has been claimed off of waivers and officially has a new home, the Houston Texans.
