New England Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones is entering the final year of his four-year, $5.1 million rookie contract.
Jones told reporters at Friday’s training camp session that, while he’s focusing on practice and not his contract, he wants to stay with the Patriots.
“Marcus Jones is entering the final year of his contract and said he ‘definitely’ wants to remain in New England,” Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald posted on Bluesky. “He also stressed he’s focused on training camp and not thinking about his deal.”
New England selected Jones in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft and the 26-year-old had arguably his best season during his rookie campaign.
