New England Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis III returned to OTAs and matched up with undrafted rookie wide receiver Efton Chism III during a practice session.
Davis was signed back in March, as part of the free-agent spending spree that saw New England transform the roster on both sides of the ball. Chism, on the other hand, is an underdog who instantly became one of the top standouts at OTAs.
The young receiver will get plenty of great looks against top NFL talent when facing players like Davis and Christian Gonzalez. It doesn't get any tougher than that for a first-year player ahead of training camp.
