Rob Gronkowski's Week 1 status remains up in the air, as the New England Patriots tight end did not travel with the team on Friday, according to a Providence Journal report.
If Gronkowski cannot go, Martellus Bennett, the team's No. 2 tight end, will see an expanded role.
