Ezekiel Elliott's visit with New England Patriots went 'very well' despite former Cowboys running back leaving without a deal

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott's free agent visit with the New England Patriots reportedly went 'very well', according to a report.

Elliott spent time over the weekend at the Patriots facility and later was also seen out getting dinner with starting quarterback Mac Jones.

ESPN's Jermey Fowler recently reported that New England would like to sign a running back soon, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to agree on what Elliott deems a 'respectable contract.'

'I talked to somebody with the team and they said the meeting went very well,' Fowler said Sunday on Sportscenter.
