Barkevious Mingo spent only one season with the New England Patriots, but it ended with him winning his only championship ring. Mingo was part of the Patriots team that beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51, and came back from a 28-3 deficit along the way.
Four years later, he now finds himself as a Falcon after having signed a one-year free agency pact with the organization. But even now he cannot escape 28-3, being asked about the game during his introductory conference call with the Atlanta media.
“I’m pretty sure that nobody wants to hear that, but — from my perspective — it was a crazy game and one that I will never forget,” Mingo said.
