The two Bills have high praise for their former boss.
Ex-New York Giants head coach Bill Parcells and current New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick reflected on the life of Ray Perkins, who died Wednesday at the age of 79. Both men owe their careers to Perkins, who hired them as assistants while he was head coach of the Giants from 1979 to 1982.
“He had a big impact on my life and my career,” Belichick said Friday, per the Boston Globe.
