For 20 years, Elyria Catholic did not have a first-team All-Ohio boys basketball player.
On March 28, Panthers big man Jack Kenneally broke that stretch as he was recognized as a 2021-22 Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association first-team All-Ohioan.
According to the OHSAA, he is the fourth Panther selected for the first team with Matt Dell Valle (2001-02, 18.8 points per game), Eric Barnes (1989-90, 29.3 PPG) and Gary Grambley (1977-78, 17 PPG).
