New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye spoke about one of the team's biggest acquisitions in free agency—signing four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a three-year deal.
“When I was in high school he was a youngin’ in the league, and I had him on my fantasy team and things like that," Maye told media members on Thursday. "I was playing with him on "Madden." So, it’s pretty cool to now this season be throwing to him."
Diggs was signed by the Patriots in an effort to bolster their wide receiver room. He suffered an ACL injury last October, but he is hopeful to be ready to go by the start of the season.
