In January, after the New England Patriots' 2015 season ended, so did Dr. Matt Provencher's tenure as the team's medical director: he left his positions with the Patriots and as Massachusetts General Hospital's Chief of Sports Medicine to take on a job at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Until now, neither organization has officially announced Dr. Provencher's replacement. However, according to Tom E. Curran, one has already been found (at least for the Patriots):
