Dolphins sign Cole Strange, former Patriots first round pick, to reinforce offensive line

The Miami Dolphins reinforced their offensive line on Sept. 9 in the wake of a starter James Daniels' pectoral injury.

The Dolphins picked up Cole Strange, a 2022 first round pick by the New England Patriots, off the Cleveland Browns' practice squad according to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Strange could be available to play for the Dolphins in an AFC East clash with his former team on Sunday, Sept. 14, per Pelissero.

A 27-year-old offensive lineman who played collegiately at Tennessee-Chattanooga, Strange started every game at left guard for the Patriots in his rookie 2022 season.
