FOXBOROUGH — It's not been the easiest ride for Drake Maye since he arrived in New England. The Patriots quarterback is now on his second head coach and offensive coordinator during his NFL career. And with the state of the team last season, along with higher expectations this year, there's been a lot on Maye's shoulders.
In the Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Maye finished with 287 passing yards, completing 30-of-46 passes, including one touchdown and one interception, along with four carries for 11 rushing yards. But there were also some obvious signs of struggle.
