Former Colorado Buffaloes and current Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders could get an opportunity to face the New England Patriots in the 2025 season.
A date has yet to be confirmed, but the Browns will be on the Patriots' 2025 schedule, which officially releases on May 14.
The Browns picked unconventionally in the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Oregon quarterback Dillion Gabriel in the third round with the 94th overall selection. They then used the 144th pick in the fifth round on Sanders. Now, the team has an interesting quarterback competition brewing between five players currently rostered at the position, including Sanders, Gabriel, Deshaun Watson, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco.
