This game is a story of big home runs that propelled Reno to an easy victory. A pair of homers in the first, including a leadoff homer from Alek Thomas and a 3-run blast from Cooper Hummel gave Reno an early 4-0 lead. Humberto Mejia wasn’t efficient, but he delivered 5 innings and ultimately allowed 2 runs. Reno would score 5 more runs in the 4th, thanks to a Jake Hager grand slam. Henry Ramos homered in the 7th as well. Hummel would finish a triple shy of the cycle.
