Devin Asiasi, Dalton Keene working to get up to speed in tight end starved Patriots offense

FOXBOROUGH — With six NFL games under his belt, Ryan Izzo is the most experienced player in the Patriots’ tight end room.

It’s a ridiculously young group, and there’s plenty of opportunity to be had.

Bill Belichick traded up twice in the third round to nab Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene, inked Jake Burt as an undrafted free agent, and just signed Paul Quessenberry, who spent the last five years away from football serving in the Marines. They group is rounded out by Paul Butler, who made the Raiders active roster in 2019 but is still seeking his first NFL game-day appearance.
