Details released on the contracts of two new Patriots

After the signings of interior offensive lineman Luke Bowanko and tight end Troy Niklas were announced earlier this week, the details of the two one-year agreements were made public on Friday morning. The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin provided the insight.

Patriots TE Troy Niklas got a 1 year, $940k deal with $175k gtd. Includes $75k signing bonus, $75k workout bonus and $100k of his $790k base salary gtd. Cap number $940k.

The breakdown on Niklas’s deal:

Salary: $790,000 ($100,000 guaranteed at signing)

Signing bonus : $75,000

Workout bonus: $75,000

2018 Cap Figure: $940,000
