The New England Patriots finally agreed to a deal with running back TreVeyon Henderson on Friday, a day before rookies were slated to arrive for training camp.
But it isn't an ordinary contract for the second-round draft pick out of Ohio State University.
According to KPRC 2's Aaron Wilson, the Patriots agreed to sign Henderson to a four-year, $11.143 million fully guaranteed contract, including a $4.74 million signing bonus.
The writing was already on the wall once Miami Dolphins guard Jonah Savaiinaea and Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III were both signed to guaranteed deals.
