The Washington Commanders and New England Patriots participated in a joint practice on Wednesday ahead of Friday's preseason opener at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. During that practice, a couple of skirmishes broke out, although the practice ended amicably, and no one was ejected.
During one of the scrums, Patriots' running back TreVeyon Henderson picked up a blitz block, and suddenly, there was a pile of players on the ground. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel charged into the pile to break it up, coming away with a bloodied cheek.
There was speculation that Commanders edge rusher Von Miller was smack in the middle of that fight, but the 36-year-old linebacker took to Instagram to set the record straight.
