Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels always seems to rise to the occasion. For the first time in the 2025 season, Daniels and the Commanders faced another team when Washington shared the field with the New England Patriots in a joint scrimmage on Wednesday.
It was a matchup between the two quarterbacks chosen No. 2 (Daniels) and No. 3 (Drake Maye) in the 2024 NFL draft. And these two gunslingers put on a show.
It was Daniels' first time against another team in the NFL without star wide receiver Terry McLaurin. McLaurin, of course, is currently at odds with the Commanders on a new contract extension.
