In a video posted on TikTok, Lanasia Bentley retells her chance encounter with hip hop star Cardi B while doing some shopping at around 2 pm on New Year’s Day. She noticed a Cadillac truck with New York license plates, which seemed out of place at her local Star Market in Dedham. The presence of a security guard in the produce section furthered Bentley’s suspicions.
Upon noticing the rapper, she approached her saying, “Oh my gosh Cardi, how are you?” Bentley explained that the “Up” singer was “not in the mood,” replying to Bentley with a simple “I’m fine.
