Though there was some speculation that Cam Newton may have injured his hamstring last Sunday, the Patriots quarterback wasn’t listed on Wednesday’s injury report.
Appearing on WEEI’s Greg Hill Show Monday morning, Newton downplayed any potential ailment he may have suffered.
“I don’t know where that came from. I didn’t have no hamstring problems,” Newton said. “We won, so that means I’m not hurt no more.”
N’Keal Harry (shoulder) and Julian Edelman (knee) were both limited on Wednesday, as were Brandon Copeland (knee), Adam Butler (shoulder) and Jonathan Jones (foot).
