The rest of Cam Newton’s numbers are out — and they’re extraordinarily team-friendly.
According to CBS’s Jason La Canfora, the newest Patriots quarterback will earn a base salary of $1.05 million with only $550,000 guaranteed.

Beyond that, retaining the option to franchise tag Newton in 2021 is another huge advantage for the team.
