Four weeks into the season, one of the biggest question marks on the New England Patriots’ roster was the kicker position. After all, veteran Stephen Gostkowski has missed at least one field goal or extra point attempt in three straight games and entering Week 5 being seven of eight on field goal attempts (87.5%) and 11 of 15 on extra points (73.3%). However, it appears that Gostkowski might have been dealing with some injury.
As a result of this, the Patriots have now placed the 35-year-old on their injured reserve list as first reported by the Boston Globe’s Jim McBride.
