The NFL’s legal tampering window opens today and runs through Wednesday at 4 p.m., when free agency begins. During this time, teams can speak with agents about impending free agents, but they can’t meet with the player or, theoretically, agree to a contract.
The Patriots don’t have a marquee group of free agents themselves, but there are definitely a bunch worth re-signing for various reasons. And like always, the Pats will be intrigued by a host of other teams’ players who will soon hit the open market.
