Brandon King on PUP, Damion Square on NFI to open training camp

The New England Patriots placed linebacker Brandon King on the active/physically-unable-to-perform list and the Los Angeles Chargers placed nose tackle Damion Square on the active/non-football-injury list as their NFL teams got to work at training camp.

Square is an Alabama alumnus, while King prepped at Thompson High School before playing at Auburn.

Neither player can practice while under their current designation. But NFL teams are 10 days away from their first full practices, with conditioning work and walkthroughs on the schedule this week.

King missed the entire 2019 season after suffering an injury in a preseason game on Aug.
