Bill O’Brien facing criticism after allegedly telling Alabama QB Jalen Milroe he ‘shouldn’t play quarterback’

Jalen Milroe is in the middle of a successful season as the starting quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. The redshirt sophomore has led his team to a 12-1 record and a spot in the college football playoff, all while proving himself an intriguing dual-threat player.

A dual-threat player, Milroe has completed 171 of 261 pass attempts (65.5%) for 2,718 yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. In addition, he gained 468 yards on 140 rushing attempts for 12 more scores.

As a result of his performance, the 21-year-old garnered the sixth-most votes for the Heisman Trophy.
