Bill Belichick is in the middle of his most challenging season as the New England Patriots’ head coach, but that did not stop him from making an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday morning. With the Army-Navy Game being played at Gillette Stadium, he was invited to serve as a guest picker during the pregame show.
Belichick surely did not disappoint. Not only did he again showcase his immense knowledge of football history — casually dropping names and facts from Army-Navy Games played more than half a century ago — but he also paid a quite entertaining homage to broadcasting legend Lee Corso while making his (rather unsurprising) pick for the game.
