Bill Belichick reportedly spoke with another NFL team about coaching job this offseason

With every head-coaching vacancy across the NFL now filled, Bill Belichick looks to be out of a job for the 2024 NFL season.

But the Atlanta Falcons were reportedly not the only NFL team to express interest in hiring the legendary head coach.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Belichick was also considered for the Washington Commanders’ head-coaching gig before the team opted to hire Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.

Russini added that the Commanders spoke with Belichick about the position and that “he had support from some decision makers”, but Washington ultimately opted to hire Quinn instead.
