Bill Belichick has no desire to talk about the elephant in the room. With only one game left on the New England Patriots’ regular season schedule, the team’s head coach remains steadfast in his “one game at a time” approach despite questions about his future.
At 4-12, Belichick is no guarantee to return for the 2024 season. While no decision has been made, there is a level uncertainty unprecedented since he arrived in 2000.
Just don’t expect him to talk about it publicly.
“I’m focused on getting ready for the Jets,” Belichick said on a conference call on Monday.
