FOXBORO — The hits keep coming at the linebacker position for the Patriots as the second half of the season gets underway.
A Herald source indicated in a report on Tuesday that concussion issues may keep Shea McClellin out for the season, and during Wednesday morning's press conference, coach Bill Belichick confirmed that.
"We won't be activating Shea to the roster," Belichick said.
McClellin never made it to the active roster this season and was placed on injured reserve designated to return. The source said McClellin's injury at the beginning of the season was a concussion even though it was never declared.
