Jan. 3—FOXBOROUGH — It really is quite a sight to see every week in the NFL, particularly here in New England.
An Alabama guy throws it there. An Alabama guy runs it there. and two other Alabama guys beat the smithereens out of the opposing quarterback.
And the Patriots usually win.
Yup. Nick Saban's influence (see Alabama Crimson Tide) reeks all over the Patriots roster, due in part to his friendship with his former boss in Cleveland in the early 1990s, Bill Belichick.
And those bonus baby dudes from Alabama — including quarterback Mac Jones, running back Damien Harris, linebacker Dont'a Hightower and defensive tackle Christian Barmore — are mixed with Auburn, Michigan and LSU guys doing damage.
