Big Aaron Rodgers Announcement Crushes Patriots’ Dreams

The New England Patriots pass rush was the worst in the NFL last season, with just 28 sacks, placing them 32nd out of the 32 teams. But according to media speculation this week, New England could have one trade in mind to solve the problem.

New head coach Mike Vrabel has taken steps to upgrade the pass rush, but according to Patriots correspondent Jordy McElroy of USA Today Patriotswire, New England could seal the deal by targeting Pittsburgh Steelers seven-time Pro Bowl pick T.J. Watt in that trade.

Watt will be entering the final season of his four-year, $112 million contract with the Steelers, and remains in a standoff with the team over a potential new deal.
