More questions at the wide receiver position for the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of Week 1. After already listing Tee Higgins as doubtful to play in the season opener against the New England Patriots because of a hamstring injury, the team announced on Saturday that Ja’Marr Chase will now be questionable for the contest due to an illness.
This latest designation comes on top of Chase’s status already being uncertain due to a contract dispute. The former first-round draft pick only returned to practice this week following a “hold-in” in hopes of getting a new deal.
