The Patriots shifty running back tore his ACL in yesterday's win against Washington.
When Patriots running back Dion Lewis went down during yesterday's game against the Washington Redskins, fans were hoping for the best but fearing the worst. After initial reports that Lewis could have dodged a bullet by "only" suffering an injury to his MCL brought a little hope, today's news are a tough blow: according to the Boston Globe's Jim McBride, Lewis will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
The 25-year old Lewis played his first year with the Patriots after sitting out the entire 2014 season due to injuries.
