The Arizona Cardinals have missed out on another free agent target they had. After the New England Patriots beat them out for defensive lineman Milton Williams, it is the Minnesota Vikings who won out for a player the Cardinals wanted.
Former Indianapolis Colts guard Will Fries agreed to a five-year contract worth $88 million with Minnesota. They apparently outbid a few teams.
According to SI.com's Albert Breer, Fries' other suitors were the Cardinals, the Colts, the New England Patriots, the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Giants.
