It’s almost as though the New England Patriots were supposed to pick Alabama outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings in the 2020 NFL Draft. And they did, adding the former Dadeville High School star with the 87th pick in the 85th draft.
Jennings said former Alabama and NFL safety Vinnie Sunseri predicted in February he’d be drafted by the Patriots. A graduate assistant at Alabama last season, Sunseri is a member of the New England support staff now.
“He was the analyst for a couple years here and someone I could really reach out to and have conversations with,” Jennings said.
